Since 2009, our lifetime care guarantee has given laser patients real confidence in their results, for life.
If your vision naturally regresses after iDesign or Schwind laser eye surgery performed as your primary procedure, we will assess you for a laser enhancement. If you are a suitable candidate, it is covered for as long as that remains true, with no fixed cut-off.

What's included
Your laser lifetime care guarantee covers the following.
Your laser enhancement
For as long as you remain clinically suitable. A small administration fee applies.
Aftercare following your enhancement
Post-operative appointments and routine eye drops for up to 3 months.
Your original treatment
Pre-operative consultation, surgery and initial post-operative care, as set out in your consent paperwork.
Related complications
Treatment of complications directly related to your original surgery, if they arise within 3 months of treatment.
Who is covered?
This guarantee is specific to laser eye surgery, so it is worth being clear on exactly what it covers. It applies to:
iDesign Laser Eye Surgery (LASIK or PRK) carried out as your primary vision correction procedure, for patients who selected the lifetime care guarantee package at the time of their original surgery.
It does not extend to lens-based surgery. Enhancements after Lens Replacement Surgery or Phakic IOLs are not covered. Those procedures have their own dedicated enhancement policy, and our team will explain it clearly if it applies to you.
If you chose standard care rather than the lifetime care guarantee, your cover applies for the first 12 months after surgery. We will always be upfront about which package applies to you, so you know exactly where you stand.
