• Mr. Eamonn Hynes BA MB BS FRCSI (Ophthal) - Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon:
A very highly experienced Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, Mr. Hynes has over 20 years’ experience working in laser eye surgery and has carried out more than 12,000 procedures. His dedication to his profession and patients is evident from his extensive clinical experience and continued attendance at national and international seminars and conferences, as well as his ongoing research in the future of laser refractive surgery and the development of surface and flap based laser surgery techniques. Mr. Hynes is committed to ensuring that the techniques and technologies used at Optilase are the safest and most advanced in the world.
• Mr. Antonio Uceda-Montanes MD, Cert. LRS RCOphth - Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon:
Mr. Uceda-Montanes underwent postgraduate training in General Pathology, Ocular Pathology and Ophthalmology from 1995 to 2001, both in the United States and Spain. Mr Uceda-Montanes is a highly experienced Ophthalmic Surgeon that has practiced in private and public sectors in Spain and the UK before relocating to Ireland. He has performed more than 15,000 procedures, including LASIK, Epi-LASEK, PRK, Phakic intraocular lens treatment, Intracorneal Inlays, Cataract and Refractive lens Exchange treatments.
